A clear quote is the easiest way to agree on scope and price before any work starts, and the fastest route to getting paid afterwards. Fill in the form above to download a professional PDF quote with your line items, tax, a validity date, and your own terms. No account, no email address.
How to use it
- Enter your business name and your client's name
- Set the quote date and how long the price is valid (30 days by default)
- List what you're quoting for, with a quantity and price per line
- Optionally add tax, a discount, notes on scope, and your payment terms
- Download the PDF and send it for approval
What to put in a quote
- Scope, line by line. Clients approve faster when they can see exactly what's included, and it's your best defence against scope creep later.
- A validity date. Your prices and availability change; a quote that never expires is an open-ended commitment.
- Payment terms. If you want a deposit, say so here. Asking for 30-50% upfront on larger projects is common; see deposits and upfront payments.
- Tax. State whether prices include VAT, so the client isn't surprised when the invoice arrives.
Not sure whether you need a quote, an estimate, or an invoice? The quote vs. estimate vs. invoice guide explains the difference.
